HBS had no way to manage the tremendous amount of information supporting event logistics for the FIFA World Cup.

The World Cup is the world's most watched sporting event. The host broadcaster is responsible for capturing and delivering the live video streams to other broadcasters around the globe. Ekohe's custom-built booking system and logistics platform has helped transmit matches since the South African World Cup. From camera to television, our system allows broadcasters to capture, secure, edit, schedule, invoice, and execute stream orders worldwide. From the 2010 South Africa World Cup to the 2014 Brazil World Cup, the Ekohe team has been hard at work updating the software and building a new platform to service other areas of the workflow—all in time for the 2018 Russia World Cup.

In a crowded fitness world, how could the newly founded Because We Care launch with maximum impact... capturing market scale and investor funding at the same time?

Erwann Menthéour, former champion cyclist of Tour de France, continued his long-term entrepreneurial partnership with Ekohe ‒ launching Because We Care, a mobile app offering highly-personalized exercise and diet programs integrating individual objectives, medical history, and lifestyle preferences.

Based on Erwannʼs best-selling book and his earlier product Fitnext, BWC ʻlevels upʼ the wellness experience by adding regular customized health condition checks, tailored shopping lists based on recommended diets, and a real take on sustainability by incorporating various methods to reduce users' carbon footprint.

Through market research, BWC found that custom fitness programs fall short of providing specific information, and customers have to take extra steps to find answers - from determining the nutrients of a recipe ingredient to managing the causes and symptoms of muscle pain. Former Champion cyclist, Erwann Menthéour, collaborated with Ekohe to create a platform for users to follow the Fitnext training method via their mobile devices. The method focuses on tracking and providing personalized training regimes based on food, health, and equipment available. 

The unique and complex algorithm promises a program tailored to the user's changing needs, desires and availability.  After Fitnext website became successful commercially, the company started to think mobile.

Maxime has more than 10 years of experience in graphic design and web development. He holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Shanghai Jiao Tong University（上海交通大学）and graduated from a top engineering school in France: Ecole Centrale Lille. At the beginning of 2007, Maxime decided that he was fed up with the cog-like atmosphere of web & software development; thus, Ekohe was founded. Today, Maxime works as a web developer and manages Ekohe. When Maxime isn’t working—which is just about never—he travels the world. Every holiday, he finds himself somewhere new to explore.

2007年初頭、Webとソフトウェア開発現場での歯車のような雰囲気にうんざりしたマキシムはEkoheを創立することを決心しました。
今日、マキシムはWeb開発者として現役で働きながらEkoheのマネージメントをしています。

マギーはもともと中国の天津市出身で、2002年に学業のため上海に移動しました。

デジタル分野で「スーパーマリオ」的存在のフェイサルは、多くのスタートアップを立ち上げ、製品開発、経営コンサルティング、オンラインマーケティング、ビジネス開発、UX研究にも携わってきました。 NYCに拠点を置く2つの代理店のデジタル業務を指揮し、多くのFortune500クライアントの関係とロードマップを管理しました。また、Merrill LynchのML.comと、国内最大の公益事業の1つであるNational Gridの米国ポータルを管理しました。フェイサルはビジネスの世界を超えて10年以上音楽ジャーナリスト兼テクノDJを務め、最近では自閉症の家族や子供たちを支援するために、Big Kids Wayと呼ばれるYoutubeで漫画シリーズを執筆、制作、監督しました。

ティファンはロンドンのグリニッジ大学でマルチメディア技術を専攻し、その素晴らしい町が大好きでしたが、変化を求めてアジア発見へと旅立つ決意をしました。

Keira graduated from Carnegie Mellon University where she learned first things about machine learning. This subject matter soon became her career. She has 5 years experience of experimenting with machine learning models and tailoring them to help with real-world business problems. In her free time, she has a keen interest in reading about various topics and the most recent one is interior design.

Originally from Tianjin, China, Maggie moved to Shanghai in 2002 for academic purposes, graduating from Fudan University with a degree in tourism management. She started her career as a naming consultant at a branding agency. She joined Ekohe in 2008, starting with 4 others in product testing, web-strategy consulting, and project management. In 2014, she grew along with her brilliant team and was promoted to managing director of Ekohe Shanghai. Soon after, she became the COO, ensuring that our global offices are growing and developing as expected. Maggie has over 10 years experience in market research, branding & digital consulting, project management, business exploration, and team management. 

Due to her vivacious spirit, Maggie has no problem trying new things. She loves yoga and plays a mean game of badminton. She also recently took up Chinese painting and violin. It's never too late!


Maxime 在平面设计和网络开发领域有有着超过10的经验。他本科毕业于法国顶级工程学院－里尔中央学院，之后来到中国，并在上海交通大学取得了人工智能专业的硕士学位。毕业后，Maxime 厌倦了陈旧机械化的网站和软件开发氛围，于是在2007年初创立了易空海。作为整个公司的管理者，Maxime 仍然全身心的投入到开发中去。Maxime 在他的工作不忙的时候－当然，我们真的希望能发生一次－他非常愿意去世界上的各个新奇的地方旅行和探险。下一个假期，他会带上他的电脑去哪里呢？


Maggie 2002年从天津来到上海读书，四年之后从复旦大学毕业，在一家品牌咨询公司做品牌命名顾问。2008年她加入了当时只有四个人的易空海，开始学着做产品测试，项目管理，网络策略研究和咨询。2014年她和易空海的团队一起成长，并被任命为易空海上海公司的 Managing Director，接下来的两年里，随着易空海各地公司的成立，她也被提升为COO，负责各个公司的健康发展和团队成长。Maggie 有十年扎实的市场研究，品牌数字行业咨询，项目管理和拓展，团队成长管理的经验。
她喜欢接触新鲜的事物，喜欢做瑜伽，会打羽毛球，最近又开始学习中国画和小提琴。好像什么时候开始都不算晚。

A bit of a ’Super Mario’ in the digital arena, Feisal has launched a number of startups, and also worked in product development, management consulting, online marketing, business development, and UX research. He led the digital practice for two NYC-based agencies, managing relationships and roadmaps for a number of Fortune 500 clients. He also managed Merrill Lynch’s ML.com, and the US portal for National Grid, one of the largest utilities in the country. Beyond the business world, Feisal's been a music journalist and techno DJ for over 10 years, and he recently wrote, produced, and directed a cartoon series on Youtube called Big Kids Way, to help families and children with autism.

Maxime a plus de 10 années d'expérience en graphic design et développement web. Titulaire d'un master en intelligence artificielle obtenu à l'université Jiao Tong de Shanghai, il est également diplômé d'une des meilleures écoles d'ingénieurs de France, École Centrale Lille. Au début de l'année 2007, déçu par l'atmosphère rigide du développement web traditionnel, il décida de créer Ekohe. Aujourd'hui, Maxime manage Ekohe et prend en charge le développement de nombreux projets Web & Mobile. Durant son temps libre, Maxime aime découvrir et explorer de nouvelles destinations.

Maggie a plus de 10 ans d'expérience en analyse de marché, conseil en communication, management de projet, business développement et gestion d'équipe.


Très curieuse, Maggie aime essayer de nouvelles activités. Elle pratique notamment le yoga et le badminton. Elle a récemment débuté la peinture chinoise traditionnelle et le violon. Il n'est jamais trop tard pour apprendre !

Au-delà du monde des affaires, Feisal est journaliste musical et DJ techno depuis plus de 10 ans. Tiphaine est diplômée de l'université de Greenwich à Londres avec une spécialisation en Multimédia. Amoureuse de la ville, c'est avec nostalgie qu'elle quitta la capitale britannique pour découvrir l'Asie et relever un nouveau défi. Elle rejoignit ensuite l'équipe d'Ekohe en tant que chef de projet. Aujourd'hui, Tiphaine jongle entre la rédaction des contrats, les spécifications et la gestion des deadlines avec une grande expertise. Elle aime gérer ses équipes et travailler dans une ambiance conviviale entourée de gens passionnés. Durant son temps libre, Tiphaine rêve d'une carrière de chanteuse à succès, ses performances historiques lors de ses nombreuses soirées Karaoké sont restées mémorables !

Keira est diplômée de l’université de Carnegie Mellon où elle a appris les bases de machine learning., un sujet qui a rapidement guidé sa carrière. Elle a aujourd’hui 5 ans d’expérience dans le domaine, expérimentant différents modèles de machine learning appliqués à des problèmes business concrets. Durant son temps libre, elle aime lire et apprendre sur différents sujets, le dernier en date étant le design d’intérieur.

John joins us most recently from Race21, the digital transformation arm of Canada’s largest diversified resource company where he led the User Experience design of their data platform.  He has had a few other stops in his 20 year design career that include Creative Director and Head of Design posts in branded consumer goods that include Converse / Nike, John Fluevog, and K-Swiss APAC.  

John is also an experienced educator, having been an instructor and speaker at Emily Carr University, SFU, Art Center College of Design, and FIDM.  John holds a BA in Psychology, BSc in Industrial Design, and Masters Degree in Digital Media. John was born and raised in Vancouver BC and returns after 15 years living abroad. John’s near term goal is to advance an AI-augmented Design vision for Ekohe.  His personal interests include electronic music production, wood-working, and spending time with his family.

John est également un éducateur expérimenté, ayant été instructeur et conférencier à Vancouver et Los Angeles, à l'Université Emily Carr, SFU, Art Center College of Design, et FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising).
John est titulaire d'une licence en psychologie, d'une licence en design industriel et d'une maîtrise en médias numériques.
John est né et a grandi à Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique, où il revient après avoir vécu 15 ans à l'étranger.
L'objectif à court terme de John est de faire progresser une vision du design augmentée par l'IA pour Ekohe.  Il s'intéresse personnellement à la production de musique électronique et au travail du bois, et apprécie passer du temps avec sa famille.

Tiphaine hails from the amazing city of London, where she majored in multimedia technologies at the University of Greenwich. She was completely in love with the city, but decided that she was ready for change and set off to discover Asia. Shortly after, she joined the Ekohe family as a savvy project manager, and has since moved on to Head of Project Management Office. These days, Tiphaine acts as an expert in juggling schedules, scope, and contracts, while deftly handling client concerns. She greatly enjoys working with people and leads her team with cohesion and passion. In her free time, Tiphaine dreams about a singing career; all her colleagues are still in awe of her amazing performances during Karaoke.
