Where it started
Shanghai, 2007. Before it had a name.
Ekohe was founded in Shanghai in 2007, not to exploit a trend but to fill a structural gap. Organizations were beginning to encounter problems that required genuine intelligence expertise. The partners capable of carrying that accountability did not yet exist. Maxime Guilbot, trained in engineering at Centrale-Lille and in AI at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, built Ekohe to fill that gap. The model has not changed since: explore what intelligence can do, build it into operational reality, stay accountable for what comes out of it. Nearly twenty years later, five offices across three continents. The gap has widened. That is still why we exist.
